Usually single deckers crawl this line, But today the upper deck was mine. Kenilworth roads and Gibbet Hill glide, War Memorial Park outside, Coventry skyline coming near— Loop momentum shifting gear. --- *(Chorus)* 🎵 Dead time fillers, round again, Midlands roads in loops that bend, No trains needed, just pure bus flow— From Southam streets where the engines glow. Could’ve got the 82 instead, But timings lined up in my head. 87 got there first somehow— So 87 won the battle now. --- *(Verse 4 – Stratford Return)* X20 south through Shirley roads, Three Maypoles traffic overloads, Monkspath glide and Hockley Heath, Henley-in-Arden underneath. Wootton Wawen countryside air, No chaos somehow anywhere 😭 Normal bus ride? rare to see— Almost broke the loop identity. --- *(Bridge – The New Route Appears)* Then finally… the new bus enters play. 15C to Leamington line, The entire reason for half the timing grind. Wellesbourne first then road closure twist— Charlecote completely missed. Bus diverted somewhere strange— Classic Midlands route rearrange. --- *(Verse 5 – Poundland Luxury)* Stratford bus stop weird smell too, Didn’t know what the hell that was through 😭 Then Poundland came to save the run— Five croissants for only one pound. Absolute bargain. Peak transport nutrition. --- *(Verse 6 – Filling Dead Time)* Back to Leam but still too early, Connections sitting awkwardly. So X18 became the move, A46 in bypass groove, Cheylesmore roads then Gosford Green, Coventry looping in-between. Not because I had to ride— Just filling dead time countryside 😭 --- *(Verse 7 – Even More Filling)* Then X17 back again, Kenilworth roads like an old friend, No bus nerd sits around and waits— We create loops to manipulate. One more ride before the end, Another pointless-but-perfect blend. --- *(Final Chorus)* 🎵 Dead time fillers, buses wide, Looping counties side to side, No rails needed, all road today— Midlands motion all the way.
