[Intro - Spoken] We’re used to chasing things. Chasing success, chasing people, chasing peace. But Christmas reminds us— Hope chased us first. [Verse 1] Hope didn’t wait for us to reach up, Hope reached down. Into the silence, into the struggle, Into a small forgotten town. When we were trapped in our own choices, Blinded by the things we’d done, God stepped in with gentle mercy, Sent His one and only Son. [Verse 2] We were busy, we were broken, We were numb or we were proud, But He saw through all our layers, Every heart beneath the crowd. He didn’t ask us for perfection, Didn’t wait for us to shine, Hope came searching in the shadows, Saying, “Will you be mine?” [Chorus] Hope found us In our darkest night. Hope found us— Jesus, our Light. We didn’t search first, We didn’t know how… But Hope found us, And Hope is with us now. [Spoken - Mid] “When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us…” It wasn’t because we had it all together— it was because He is kind. [Verse 3] So if you feel you’re always chasing Things that never satisfy, Let this Christmas be the moment You let Jesus fill your life. He’s the hope that doesn’t vanish, The One that never slips away, Even when your feelings wobble, He is constant, He will stay. [Bridge] Hope has a Name, Hope has a face, Hope wore our skin, Stood in our place. [Chorus – Reprise] Hope found us In our darkest night. Hope found us— Jesus, our Light.
