My message is simple: do not give up. Do not just wait for the cure to come, fight for it. When I was still a boy, cancer advanced stage lung carcinoma took my father. The doctors said he only had two months to live… but he fought. He fought with all his strength, and managed to give us more time, more days of love, more memories to hold in our hearts. I could feel every tear, every pain, every heavy silence. I wanted to take his suffering away, but I couldn’t. Still, my father never gave up. He resisted until the end, and taught us that life, fragile as it may be, is meant to be fought for.
