[Intro – Elders, rhythmic chant] May the Lord make this woman like Rachel and Leah, Who built up Israel — may blessing stay. Fruitful and faithful, a house made strong, A lineage of covenant, a family song. [Verse 1 – Women of Bethlehem, soulful gospel] May your house be like Perez, born of Tamar’s plight, Through this union, may morning follow night. From sorrow to joy, from stranger to kin, The Lord redeems, His mercy wins. [Bridge – Boaz, joyful rap] Today you witness, I take Ruth my bride, To raise up a name, God’s on our side. From famine to fullness, His hand is revealed, In covenant love, the future is sealed. [Verse 2 – Ruth, tender yet triumphant] Once I was stranger, now I belong, In Bethlehem’s story, a place and a song. Under His wings, I found my rest, In love and redemption, I am blessed. [Hook – Full Cast, gospel celebration] Blessing flows, the elders declare, Joy resounds in Bethlehem’s air. From Rachel, Leah, Tamar, too, God builds a house through love made new. [Finale – Chorus, exuberant call-and-response] From Moab’s soil to Judah’s land! (Hallelujah!) From widow’s tears to a wedding stand! (Hallelujah!) The Redeemer reigns, His promise sure, A son will rise, the line secure!
