I deliver to you what I have received What has been handed down to me That God almighty forever blessed Was manifested in the flesh Seen of angels preached unto men According to the scriptures died for our sins And by the same scriptures he rose again He was seen of all the brethren Who told this true story he was then received up into glory And he shall surely come again! (Chorus) He loved us and gave himself up for us His life was a ransom for all men The just for the unjust That we could be born again Confess him as your Lord And Believe within your heart That God has raised him from the dead And you shall be saved, Amen. He chose us in Him from the foundation of the world That we should be spotless before him in love Having adopted us as sons, Accepted in the Beloved. It’s not of works that we have done But Grace through faith in God’s only son We have redemption through his blood And by this faith we overcome! (Chorus) He loved us and gave himself up for us His life was a ransom for all men The just for the unjust That we could be born again Confess him as your Lord And Believe within your heart That God has raised him from the dead And you shall be saved, Amen. (Chorus) He loved us and gave himself up for us His life was a ransom for all men The just for the unjust That we could be born again Confess him as your Lord And Believe within your heart That God has raised him from the dead And you shall be saved, Amen.
