(Instrumental intro – 8 bars) Verse 1: There’s a hush across the room tonight, Soft as velvet, low and light, Every eye begins to turn, As the band begins to burn. Verse 2: Hear the rhythm take its place, See that smile upon your face, Every note just seems to glide, With the music as our guide. Chorus: Come and swing with the Out Of The Blue Big Band, Feel the rhythm moving right on cue, Let the night unfold just like we planned, Every note feels fresh and new. Verse 3: Saxophones begin to sigh, Trumpets lift us way up high, Every phrase a sweet surprise, Shining underneath the lights. Chorus: Come and swing with the Out Of The Blue Big Band, Feel the rhythm moving right on cue, Let the night unfold just like we planned, Every note feels fresh and new. Bridge: Hold it close, don’t let it go, Let the melody just flow, When the band begins to rise, You can feel it in your soul. Final Chorus: Come and swing with the Out Of The Blue Big Band, Let the music carry you away, Take a chance and let your heart expand, We’ll be swinging till the break of day.
