There are so many things We do throughout our lives That will one day come to an end Most will be at a time we get to decide But some we won’t remember when When was the last time You spoke to that friend? When was the last time You listened to that song? When was the last time With your favorite childhood toy? But never noticed these moments were gone? We get caught up in the Drama of everyday life And miss the moments That we should enjoy We may miss memories And timing that right While we’re focused On staying employed When was the last time You played a record? Or taped a song you loved On the radio? There are many things we do As part of our routine But for the last time we may not know When was the last time You went somewhere new Or had some exotic meal? When was was the last time You saw someone you loved And told them just how you feel?
