Letters 27 – The Flight of Jesus to Syria
[Introduction]: To escape the political pressures of Galilee and the attempt to proclaim him king, Jesus quietly withdraws toward the borders and lands of Syria. [Verse 1]: The steep paths move away from the blue lake, / Beneath a sky heavy with dust and fire. / He walks in silence, fleeing the clamor, / Bearing an immense sorrow on his shoulders. / Syria welcomes him in a foreign land, / Far from the madness and false banners... [Chorus]: To flee the crown to find the wind again, / Walking toward exile in silence and in song. / Syria wraps him in a discreet veil, / Keeping a divine secret in its valleys. [Verse 2]: Here no one knows the prophecies of back home, / The wind blows free over the scorching sands. / He walks incognito among the passersby, / Observing the misery and his heart beating. / A voluntary exile to sow elsewhere, / Pure hope far from vain honors... [Chorus]: To flee the crown to find the wind again, / Walking toward exile in silence and in song. / Syria wraps him in a discreet veil, / Keeping a divine secret in its valleys. [Verse 3]: Borders fade beneath his worn sandals, / In these pagan lands with broken roads. / He heals in secret, without noise or trumpet, / While back in Galilee the rumor stops. / A time of silence and deep desert, / Before plunging back into the heart of the whirlwind... [Outro]: A journey on the margins, far from the noises of the court, / To better prepare for the hour of the final day...
