They’d been wandering for years, far from home By the rivers of a land not their own Broken dreams in Babylon’s night Praying for a morning light Then a whisper through the pain and the fear Said, “Your freedom, it is drawing near” Through a king they’d never known God was calling His people home Not by power, not by name But every heart can be a flame We never know how He’ll move Or the roads He’s gonna choose In the silence or the storm He is breaking through Right place, right time Every moment by design Even strangers play a part In His grand design Cyrus rose and the walls came down Set them free, sent them back to their town With the silver and the gold restored Every promise of the Lord Not a man of their belief Still became their sweet relief God can use the least expected hand To fulfill what He has planned We may doubt, we may hide Still He’s working in our lives We never know how He’ll move Or the roads He’s gonna choose In the silence or the storm He is breaking through Right place, right time Every moment by design Even strangers play a part In His grand design I was stranded on a lonely road Flat tire and a heavy load Cars passed by, didn’t even see What was right in front of me Then an old truck pulled on through Three kind hearts, they just knew Changed my tire, wouldn’t take a dime Love showed up right on time Then their engine wouldn’t start Funny how it all fell apart I turned back, gave what I could give That’s the way we’re meant to live We’re all pieces in His plan Helping any way we can Every moment, every call He is in it through it all We never know how He’ll move Or the roads He’s gonna choose In the silence or the storm He is breaking through Right place, right time Every moment by design When we open up our hearts We become the sign So when you hear that quiet call Don’t be afraid to give your all You might be the answered prayer For someone standing there Right place, right time… That’s where His love will shine
