ঔৣ☬ The Fourth Exhale ☬ঔৣ

V6

☬ This is a TOTAL remix of JoStat and Emma's "Exhale" track. Nothing close to the original, but....what can I say.....I am doing my thing. Maybe a "little" off the wall....but HEY.....that's what we artists do sometimes.......sorry Joe....but thank you so much for including me. ☬ ✦•┈๑⋅⋯ ⋯⋅๑┈•✦✦•┈๑⋅⋯ ⋯⋅๑┈•✦✦•┈๑⋅⋯ ⋯⋅๑┈•✦ [Intro] Deep within the Appalachian mountains in the cold…dark night Sits an old cabin that never sees the light Some people tell a tale of a thing so bold That inhabits that cabin and will steal your soul. I fled the city for some peace and rest To check that ole cabin ..and put it to the test Off to the woods… where the red ferns grow To seek this place where ancient legends flow [Verse 1] This run down shack looked safe enough to me But what’s unseen…I could not see That night I went to bed… fear began to swell, Afraid I’d awaken….the ghost from Appalachian hell The Hollow-Eyed witch, it’s wrath you’d reap, She hunts the weary dreamer… as they sleep. Her crooked broken body… smells of decay, As she steals the moonlight… at the break of day. [Chorus] One… two…. Three…. and...... four... This cold cabin room is filled with gore.. Deep in the hills where the legends grow, In the tall pine trees where the cold winds blow. Something is clawing ‘neath the cabin floor, Whispering my name through the bedroom door, Deep in the hills where the legends tread, Nowhere to run as I lay in my bed. [Verse 2] Out across the room, the shape began to spin, A towering vision with gray..sagging skin, Its empty sockets looked like death in the night With a crooked snaky spine… it sure gave me a fright The shadow shifted closer to my bed, As cold sweat dripped from my trembling head. A rotting hand raised… pointing at my face She heard my final words…”I need to leave this place!” [Pre Verse] One… two…. Three…. and .....four... Something is clawing ‘neath the cabin floor, Whispering my name through the bedroom door, [Instrumental Interlude] [Verse 3] The first exhale was shallow and tight A gasp of shock from the terror in the night It held the panic trapped inside my lung, Before a whispered prayer.. could ever be sung. The room turned colder.. freezing to the bone, No help in sight…I was all alone. It bent down low…and whispered in my ear, "You'll not escape the darkness …that is living here." [Verse 4] The second exhale pushed the terror deeper down, A raspy gasp ..if I didn’t breathe I’d drown The icy air burned.. inside my raw throat, And I knew…this is it….this is all she wrote Now the third exhale came…. heavy.. thick with dread, If I didn’t move…I would soon be dead This thing reached out… with her cold, clawed hand, I knew in an instant… I had to take a stand! [Bridge] The fourth exhale came… slow… a quiet release, Gone was the fear …only comforting peace All terror vanished ..my eyes had a gleam As I awoke to find… it was all a dream! I breathed and sat up… gone was the gloom A sigh of relief… I’m safe in my room I laughed out loud… it was just a bad dream… Then a hand on my shoulder… I could not scream! [Outro] One…two…. three…. and .......four... I frantically run …towards the door Deep in the hills where the legends tread, I’ll sleep no more… in that cabin’s bed [End] ✦•┈๑⋅⋯ ⋯⋅๑┈•✦✦•┈๑⋅⋯ ⋯⋅๑┈•✦✦•┈๑⋅⋯ ⋯⋅๑┈•✦
