BE SUPPORTED Inspired by “Change Will Come Whether We Want It or Not”

Inspirational cinematic spiritual ballad, Warm, mature female lead vocal, intimate and emotionally sincere, Begin with gentle grand piano and subtle cello, Gradually introduce lush strings and soft orchestral textures, The chorus should become soaring, memorable and uplifting without sounding theatrical, Build gradually through the bridge with orchestral percussion and increasing emotional intensity, In the final chorus, introduce a beautiful mixed choir repeating “Be supported, ” creating a feeling of humanity joining together, End by removing the orchestra and choir until only piano and the solo female voice remain for the final line, “The love remains, ” Timeless, elegant, deeply moving, hopeful and universal

Verse 1
There are winds that come without our asking,
There are tides we cannot turn away.
There are doors that close behind us softly,
As another world awakens with the day.
We may hold the things that once protected us,
We may fear what waits beyond our sight.
But the shelter made to hold the caterpillar
Cannot hold the wings prepared for flight.
Pre-Chorus
You are more than what has happened,
More than all you've left behind.
There is something still unfolding,
There is so much more to find.
Chorus
Be supported, be supported, be supported.
Let the love surrounding you come in.
You don't have to know where you are going
To allow the journey to begin.
Be supported, be supported, be supported.
Let your heart grow larger than your fear.
Change may take away the old familiar,
But the love remains.
The love remains right here.
Verse 2
Every life contains a thousand stories,
Every heart remembers where it's been.
But the past was never meant to be a prison,
It was only where your journey did begin.
You can bless the one you were with kindness.
You can bless the one you were with kindness.
You can thank the road that brought you through.
You can lay the weight of yesterday beside you
And make room for something bright and new.
Pre-Chorus
You are more than your experience,
More than any name you've known.
Every time you choose to love yourself,
Your inner world has grown.
Bridge
Be the lighthouse in the changing weather.
You don't have to calm the restless sea.
Simply let your own light keep on shining,
Giving others light enough to see.
One light becomes another,
Then a thousand fill the night.
When one of us remembers who we are,
We help another find the light.
And when we grow,
We grow together.
When we heal,
The world can heal.
There is a greater song within us
When we finally let ourselves be real.
Quiet Refrain
You are more than the form.
You are more than the fear.
You are more than you thought you were
When yesterday was here.
So open to the mystery.
Let tomorrow find its way.
You do not have to be
You do not have to be
Who you were yesterday.
Final Chorus
Be supported, be supported, be supported.
Let the love surrounding you come in.
You don't have to know the destination.
You only have to let your life begin.
Be supported, be supported, be supported.
Let your heart grow larger than your fear.
Change may carry off the old familiar,
But the love remains.
The love remains right here.
Finale
Let the old forms fall away.
Let your wings unfold today.
Let yourself be larger
Than you ever dreamed you'd be.
Be the lighthouse.
Be the butterfly.
Be the love you came to find.
And when another heart is searching,
Let your light become a sign.
There are winds that come
