You were among the greatest, Of those who walk among us, You'd stride, With pride, And steel and courage. A champion, Of champions. You flipped the card, And it read Death, You walked towards it, Even knowing it was your final, Last breath. Because you know where you're going, And you know who you are, Our Aurora, Sailing through the stars. You steadied the ship, Guided us through stormy skies, Sped through the lightning strikes, And the giant waves that reached so high, The shadows beneath us, Grew deep and dark, You held fast, Determined and steadfast, A star shining in the zodiac, We'll see you when we look up into the black. You were among the greatest, Of those who walk among us, You'd stride, With pride, And steel and courage. A champion, Of champions. The battles you fought in, Left wounds, and scars, Some things heal, Some hurts remain forever in our hearts. This wound won't close yet. But you, You flipped the card, And it read Death, You walked towards it, Even knowing it was your final, Last breath. Because you know where you're going, And you know who you are, Our Aurora, Sailing through the stars. And you know who you are, Our Aurora, Sailing through the stars. And you know who you are, Our Aurora, Sailing through the stars.
