Calm and relaxed, Long day is done, Zero distractions, No thoughts, But one. The low sun is setting, Slight breeze cools my brow, Birds are retreating, Low moo from a cow. Leaves are now rustling, Crickets are heard, As I am now focused, On God’s Holy Word. Jesus is speaking, As He sits on the mount, Teaching the people, What God’s Kingdom’s about. He starts with God’s blessings, Blessed is he, These blessings are given, For you and for me. If you’re poor in spirit, The kingdom’s for you, God’s Heavenly Kingdom, Is a Blessing for you. If for some reason you mourn, Because the world’s unfair, Take comfort my friend, God’s Blessing is Care. You’re quiet and meek, You hold your peace, Jesus has promised, The Earth to the Meek. Do you hunger and thirst, To be righteously fulfilled? Blessed are you friend, You will certainly be filled. Do you strive to give mercy? Does Love fill your soul? God blesses with mercy, Your merciful soul. These blessings are wonderful, It gets better from here, You will see God, If your Heart is Pure. Blessed are peacemakers, They are Children of God, If for peace you shed tears, you Glorify God. There will be times, persecution will rise, All manner of hate, And deceitful lies, Rejoice and be, Exceedingly Glad For they revile not you, But The Lord and His Dad. All the Prophets, Before you share, Heaven’s reward, And the Treasures there. It’s growing dark, Night is falling here So I close my Scriptures, Whisper a prayer, Thank you for, Your Blessings Here, Please Dear Lord in Heaven, Please Remember our prayers.
