Chapter V: wherein SCARLETT SARAH, answered at last by the living power of the ocean itself, is unchained not by mercy but by wrath; and wherein, guided by salt, storm, and something older than prayer, she hunts down and slays each member of the Proud Mary’s crew in turn, spilling blood upon deck and below; and wherein the captives held in darkness are freed from their bonds, even as their liberator descends beyond redemption—so that, standing amid corpses and broken chains, SCARLETT SARAH lays her claim upon the Proud Mary, not as a prize taken, but as a vessel baptized in murder and bound to her will forever… [FADE IN – instrumental intro] [Verse 1] Knock knock! Good evening, officer dear, You thought I was pretty, now tremble with fear. Blood on my face, and you’ll die tonight, So I can dress how I know it feels right. [Chorus] How grim this vessel, dark and dire, Always a man to command, to conspire. Telling me how I should wear my own skin… Next one in line, let the silence begin! [Verse 2] Knock knock! Good evening, cardinal high, You thought my sister was pleasing your eye. Blood on my sex, and you’ll die tonight, So my own body can burn with its light. [Chorus] How grim this vessel, dark and dire, Always a man to command, to conspire. Telling me who I should dare to adore… Next one awaits, I won’t stop anymore. [Bridge] I will not stop, I will not yield, This ship is a prison, the chains must be peeled. Slaves all around, but freedom I crave, I need to breathe, not live as a slave! Final Verse Knock knock! Good evening, President grand, You thought I was meek, now blood’s on my hand. You’ll die tonight, so my heart can be true, To love who it wants, not commanded by you. [FADE OUT] How grim this vessel, even unmanned, The ocean is filled with ships just as damned. [Outro] This ship is mine now, I claim the prow, Ships on the ocean, hulls full of brow. Cargo holds stuffed with the bound and the brave, Next one in line — send them to the grave. Next! [END]
