Our Rock and Our Redeemer

May the words that we speak And the thoughts that we think Be pleasing to you LORD In everything that we do Let us first come to You So we act in one accord You’re our Rock and our Redeemer Sent your Son to show the way We are chosen and forgiven Our lives forever changed In the darkness You’re Light In the wilderness our Guide If we just trust and obey We’ll surrender to You Trust Your promises are true Forever Yours remain You’re our Rock and our Redeemer Sent your Son to show the way We are chosen and forgiven Our lives forever changed When our hearts cry out You hear us When we fear all hope is gone That’s when we feel You near us Like the Rising Light of Dawn In the years yet to be There’s a sure destiny For all who call Your Name Then we’ll be face to face In that glorious place As we sing this sweet refrain You’re our Rock and our Redeemer Sent your Son to show the way We are chosen and forgiven Our lives forever changed And we praise praise praise In Jesus’ name
