==================================== Based on a true story. Mostly. Okay, slightly. ==================================== [Verse 1] I packed my socks, forgot my brain, Crashed the van in a pouring rain, Jake's in the back with a pizza box, Yellin' "Turn around, you dorks!" [Pre-Chorus] Gas is gone, we're out of snacks, Map's on fire, no turning back, Tires flat, we're cursed, oh yeah, This trip's a mess, but I don't care! [Chorus] We're road trip freaks, la-la-la, Drivin' wild, no clue what to do, Breakin' out, la-la-la, Friends like these, I'm doomed, it's true! We're road trip freaks, la-la-la, Crashin' hard, we're breakin' through, Breakin' out, la-la-la, This chaos crew, it's me and you! [Verse 2] Sam's got a banjo, plays it wrong, Tina's dancin' to a gas pump song, Cop car's chasin' - wait, that's us?! We're the legends of this busted bus! [Pre-Chorus] Tank is empty, phones are dead, GPS just lost its head, Seats on fire (well, almost there), This trip's cursed, but I don't care! [Bridge] Bam-bam-bam, we're outta control, Phones are dead, GPS is lost, But who needs plans when we've got this? Pure disaster - that's our bliss! (adlib: "no turning back!") [Final Chorus] We're road trip freaks, la-la-la, Drivin' wild, no clue what to do, Breakin' out, la-la-la, Friends like these, I'm doomed, it's true! We're road trip freaks, la-la-la, Crashin' hard, we're breakin' through, Breakin' out, la-la-la, This chaos crew, it's me and you! [Outro] (adlib: "totally worth it...") la-la-la, we're freaks on wheels, Burnin' rubber, but livin' real!
