# THE RITUAL [Intro — 140 BPM, sparse industrial dubstep atmosphere. No full drums yet. A deep sub-bass pulse beats like a slow heart, surrounded by distant metallic impacts, dissonant drones and reversed mechanical textures. Close-mic male whispers sit dry in the centre while faint, distorted whisper layers drift across the stereo field. Build tension gradually without revealing the main bass.] [Whispered male voice — intimate, restrained, unsettlingly calm. Long pauses between phrases.] Can you hear it? Beneath the floor. Behind the walls. Inside the silence. [The sub pulse deepens. A metallic drone slowly rises beneath the voice.] Something is listening. [Spoken voice — low, controlled and rhythmic. Each phrase lands like a heavy impact. Introduce a sparse industrial kick and distant metallic percussion.] No light. No name. No way back. [One beat of silence. A massive metallic slam.] Begin the ritual. [Build — a syncopated half-time groove begins forming. Tight kick, sharp snare and rapidly ticking industrial hi-hats. Layer whispered repetitions that gradually accelerate. A distorted bass riser bends upwards while metallic impacts become increasingly rhythmic.] [Layered whispers, progressively louder and more urgent.] Wake it up. Wake it up. Wake it— [Complete silence for one beat. A huge sub-bass impact and cracking snare strike together.] UP. [Pre-drop chant — layered male voices in a forceful, ritualistic call-and-response. No melodic singing. Aggressive consonants, tight rhythmic phrasing and increasing distortion. Kick and snare intensify while a rising bass tone builds pressure.] OPEN THE GATE. BREAK THE SEAL. MAKE IT MOVE. MAKE IT REAL. [DROP 1 — filthy, danceable dubstep with an industrial edge. Huge sub-bass under saturated mid-bass growls, metallic talking wubs, aggressive pitch dives and syncopated bass stabs. Punchy half-time kick and cracking snare remain clear and powerful. Bass phrases answer each other rhythmically. Chopped vocal fragments become percussion. Alternate short, violent bass bursts with longer growls. Maximum impact without losing the groove.] [Chopped vocal hook — stuttering, gated and rhythmically locked to the bass. Each syllable triggers a different bass response.] O-PEN! O-PEN! BREAK THE SEAL! [The bass drops into a lower register. Rapid metallic wubs answer each vocal phrase.] WAH — AH — AH! FEEL IT! FEEL IT! FEEL IT BITE! [Instrumental drop extension — eight bars of evolving bass call-and-response. Begin with tight, punchy wubs, then introduce deeper growls, distorted metallic scrapes and rapid glitch fills. Keep the kick and snare driving the dance-floor groove. Abruptly cut the bass at the end.] [Post-drop — the beat continues at reduced intensity. The voice becomes a rhythmic glitch instrument, stuttering across the stereo field. Bass fragments answer the vocal phrases.] No—no—no—name. No—no—no—way. Wake—wake—wake— THE THING BELOW. [Breakdown — remove the kick and main bass completely. Leave a distant industrial drone, occasional iron impacts and a slow sub pulse. The atmosphere becomes vast, empty and ritualistic. The male voice returns to a natural spoken delivery, close and unsettlingly clear.] We drew the circle. We spoke the words. We heard an answer. [The drone slowly changes pitch. Quiet mechanical clicking moves from left to right.] But nobody asked what was on the other side. [Spoken — suddenly casual, as if something has interrupted the performance. The music pauses beneath the first word.] Hang on. [A brief, awkward pause. A tiny mechanical click.] That wasn't in the instructions. [THE WEIRD MOMENT — complete instrumental silence. Remove all drums, drones, reverb tails and bass. Hold the silence for a beat or two. One unnaturally dry, slightly pitch-shifted male voice appears directly in the centre.] ...Who's controlling the music? [An unnatural laugh emerges from a single chopped vocal fragment. Reverse it, rewind it and fracture it into increasingly rhythmic glitches. A deep, distorted bass voice seems to answer from underneath the mix. Slowly restore the sub pulse.] [Build 2 — a low tom pulse begins. Add kick, then snare, then increasingly rapid metallic hi-hats. The previous question repeats faster and faster, layered with whispered voices. Rising noise, dissonant synth tension and a heavily distorted bass riser create mounting pressure. Everything tightens into a final half-time build.] [Layered chants, accelerating with each repetition.] WHO'S THERE? WHO'S THERE? WHO'S THERE? [All percussion stops instantly. A single sub-bass pulse hits. An inhuman bass-processed voice speaks slowly, with a deep metallic resonance.] YOU ARE. [FINAL DROP — the largest and filthiest section. Full-weight kick and cracking snare return with enormous sub-bass, snarling industrial mid-bass, metallic wobble bass and aggressive distorted growls. The bass must remain rhythmically precise and danceable.
