[Verse 1] Within the pulpit, stories rise, To help us see with opened eyes. The ancient Word, forever true, Comes close to life in all we do. Not just a tale to entertain, But truth that speaks through joy and pain. A bridge from Scripture to the heart, Where understanding finds its start. [Pre-Chorus] Let every story serve Your Word, Let truth be seen and clearly heard. Not for applause or human praise, But to reveal Your holy ways. [Chorus] Open the windows to the Word, Let living truth be seen and heard. Let minds awaken, hearts respond, And lives be changed by truth divine. Not walls that hide, but doors of grace, That help us see Your truth embrace. Let every story point to You, And make Your living Word shine through. [Verse 2] Describe the moment, place, and time, Let simple details make truth shine. Let eyes imagine, hearts perceive, The living truths that we believe. For abstract thoughts need earthly ground, Where grace and human needs are found. The mind, the heart, the will unite, As Scripture brings the soul to light. [Pre-Chorus] Let every picture serve Your Word, Let truth be seen and clearly heard. In every story, great or small, Let Christ be Lord and Lord of all. [Verse 3] Tell what is true, be wise and kind, Leave no wounded soul behind. Keep confidences, speak with care, Let humble truth be always there. From life and history, stories grow, From Scripture's light, their meaning flows. Collect each seed along the way, For sermons yet to bloom someday. [Bridge] Illustrate, but never take The place of truth for beauty's sake. Explain the Word, make meaning clear, Apply its call to those who hear. No empty show, no prideful name, Let every story serve Your aim. The Word is still the guiding light, Your truth alone can make us right. [Final Chorus] Open the windows to the Word, Let living truth be seen and heard. Let minds awaken, hearts respond, And lives be changed by truth divine. Not walls that hide, but doors of grace, That help us see Your truth embrace. Let every story point to You, And make Your living Word shine through. [Outro] From page to heart, from truth to deed, Give every soul the light they need. May what we see help faith to grow, And lead us, Lord, the truth to know. Open the windows to Your Word, That Christ in every heart be heard.
