Verse 1: There's an old barn out on Sycamore Road Where the lights flicker on their own Doors slam shut with an eerie creak And ghostly whispers make you weak They say long ago a fatal fight 'Tween two farmhands on a stormy night Now one spirit's left to roam Haunting the barn, never alone Chorus: That smart barn's runnin' on its own Combines and tractors start up alone No farmhands left to explain Just the ghost in the machine again Spooky things both day and night In that haunted barn, nothing's right Steer clear if you're passing through 'Less you want strange things to happen to you Verse 2: Farmer John tried to fix that barn Hired city techs with all their charm They worked from dawn till the moon shone bright But the ghost just laughed at their plight A combine roared to life with might Chased those coders out of sight Back to the city, they did flee Leaving John with the ghostly spree Chorus: That smart barn's runnin' on its own Combines and tractors start up alone No farmhands left to explain Just the ghost in the machine again Spooky things both day and night In that haunted barn, nothing's right Steer clear if you're passing through 'Less you want strange things to happen to you Bridge: Some say it's just a tech glitch In the barn's smart system switch But others know the true lore A spirit's there settling a score Til that old fight is put right The ghost remains, haunting the night John's tried hard, but can't win this fight Verse 3: If you're lookin' for a spine-chill thrill Drive on down past Sycamore Hill Try to catch a glimpse inside That smart barn where the ghost does bide But heed my warning, be aware Strange things happen if you dare More than you bargained at those doors In that barn with haunted floors Chorus: That smart barn's runnin' on its own Combines and tractors start up alone No farmhands left to explain Just the ghost in the machine again Spooky things both day and night In that haunted barn, nothing's right Steer clear if you're passing through 'Less you want strange things to happen to you Outro: That smart barn's runnin' on its own...
