Hebrews 1 (Remix)

V6

Long ago, Elohim spoke to our ancestors in many different ways. Sometimes he spoke through visions, sometimes through dreams, and sometimes through the prophets who delivered his messages. But now, in these last days, Elohim has spoken to us through his Son, Yahushua. Elohim chose his Son to inherit everything. Through him, Elohim also created the worlds. Yahushua reveals the glory of his Father. He shows us exactly who Elohim is, and everything is held together by the power of his word. After cleansing us from our sins, Yahushua took his place at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. He was given a position far greater than the angels, and the name he inherited is greater than theirs. Think about this for a moment. Did Elohim ever say to an angel, You are my Son, and today I have become your Father? Did he ever promise an angel, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son? No. Those words were spoken about his Son. And when Elohim brings his firstborn into the world, he tells all the angels to worship him. The angels have important work to do. Elohim sends them out as spirits to serve him, and his servants are described as flames of fire. But when Elohim speaks about his Son, he says something much greater. Your throne, O Elohim, will last forever. Your kingdom will be ruled with fairness and righteousness. You love what is right, and you hate what is evil. That is why Elohim, your Elohim, has anointed you with the oil of joy above your companions. The Scripture continues with these words addressed to the Son. Yah-Who-Ah, you laid the foundations of the earth in the beginning. The heavens are the work of your hands. One day, those things will pass away, but you will remain. Everything around us will grow old, just as clothing wears out. You will fold them up like an old robe, and they will be changed. But you will always be the same. Your years will never come to an end. And here is one final question. Has Elohim ever told an angel to sit at his right hand until all his enemies are placed beneath his feet? No. That place of honor belongs to his Son. The angels are spirits sent out to serve. They help those who will one day inherit salvation. And that is the difference Hebrews wants us to understand. The angels are servants of Elohim, but Yahushua is his Son, the heir of all things, seated in glory beside his Father.
