Good Friends, Bad Decisions

[verse 1] Good friends, bad decisions Summer nights and open doors Two school buses in the gravel Couple more parked down the shore She said, baby, grab the cooler I said, baby, grab your suit We got strangers by the fire And a whole damn day to lose [pre chorus] We don’t need a reservation We don’t need a five star room Just a little Texas sunshine And somebody in the mood [chorus] Good friends, bad decisions Summer nights and no permission Everybody knows everybody But nobody’s keeping score Good friends, bad decisions Bare feet running through the water Two school buses, one big party And we’re always making room for more [verse 2] She knows every swimming hole I know where the locals go We pull in with both our buses And somehow everybody knows New faces around the campfire New numbers in my phone Somebody’s staying up till sunrise Somebody’s taking somebody home [pre chorus] Ain’t nobody getting jealous Ain’t nobody playing games We say what we want out loud And everybody knows the names [chorus] Good friends, bad decisions Summer nights and no permission Everybody knows everybody But nobody’s keeping score Good friends, bad decisions Cold water, warm skin Two school buses, doors wide open Come on over, bring your friends [bridge] She said, you wanna go swimming? I said, hell yeah, let’s go She said, bring that pretty couple I said, I already know Sun’s going down on the water Moon’s coming up on the trees We came here looking for good times And found exactly what we need [breakdown] Two buses One lake Whole damn weekend Wide awake New friends Old friends Maybe more That’s what these wheels are for [final chorus] Good friends, bad decisions Summer nights and no permission Everybody knows everybody But nobody’s keeping score Good friends, bad decisions Texas sky and muddy boots If you’re parked here for the weekend Hell, come join the crew Good friends, bad decisions We’ll probably do it all again Two school buses by the water And a whole lotta room for friends [outro] Good friends Bad decisions Summer nights And new connections
