Sancte Michael, ora pro nobis (Remastered)

(Intro) St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. (Verse 1) St. Michael, arise, in armor bright, Defender of souls, bring heavenly light. Against the tempter’s cunning lies, We call your name, hear our cries. (Chorus) By God’s command, by heaven’s flame, Strike the foe and cast his name. O Prince of hosts, with strength untold, Protect the faithful, guard the fold. (Verse 2) O Prince of heaven, with power divine, By God’s great hand, your strength aligns. Thrust to the depths, the serpent’s fire, Guard us, shield us from his desire. (Chorus) By God’s command, by heaven’s flame, Strike the foe and cast his name. O Prince of hosts, with strength untold, Protect the faithful, guard the fold. (Bridge) We humbly pray, O God above, Grant us your mercy, shield us with love. Through Michael’s might, your power flows, Evil defeated, your glory shows. Sancte Michael, ora pro nobis. (Final Chorus) By God’s command, by heaven’s flame, Strike the foe and cast his name. O Prince of hosts, with strength untold, Protect the faithful, guard the fold. (Outro) By the power of God, cast into hell, Satan, and the spirits who in darkness dwell. Amen.
