The Ballad of Luke and the Monster Beaver

V3.5

The Ballad of Luke and the Monster Beaver (Verse 1) Luke bought a fur, so soft and fine, From a trader passing through, But little did he know that night, A nightmare would ensue. (Chorus) Oh, the beaver came alive, With eyes of burning red, It roamed the forests wild and free, And filled the folks with dread. (Verse 2) Homes were crushed, and trees were felled, The monster’s wrath was clear, The people cried for help and hope, Their hearts were gripped with fear. (Chorus) Oh, the beaver came alive, With eyes of burning red, It roamed the forests wild and free, And filled the folks with dread. (Bridge) Luke gathered friends, both brave and true, With swords and bows in hand, They vowed to end the monster’s reign, And save their cherished land. (Verse 3) The battle raged through night and day, With courage fierce and strong, They fought the beast with all their might, Till victory was won. (Chorus) Oh, the beaver came alive, With eyes of burning red, It roamed the forests wild and free, And filled the folks with dread. (Outro) Now in the tavern, they raise their mugs, With mead and laughter bright, They toast to Luke and his brave band, Who brought them peace and light. (Verse 4) But as the dawn began to break, A secret was revealed, The beaver’s curse was cast by one, Whose heart had never healed. (Verse 5) A sorcerer, with vengeful heart, Had bound the beast with hate, To terrorize the peaceful lands, And seal their tragic fate. (Chorus) [half step up] Oh, the beaver came alive, With eyes of burning red, It roamed the forests wild and free, And filled the folks with dread. (Verse 6) Luke and his friends, with newfound strength, Sought out the sorcerer’s lair, They broke the curse with ancient spells, And ended the nightmare. (guitar solo) (Chorus) [half time] Oh, the beaver came alive, With eyes of burning red, It roamed the forests wild and free, And filled the folks with dread. (Chorus) [double time] Oh, the beaver came alive, With eyes of burning red, It roamed the forests wild and free, And filled the folks with dread. (Outro) Now in the tavern, they raise their mugs, With mead and laughter bright, They toast to Luke and his brave band, Who brought them peace and light.
