None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself. The strong person is not the one who can overpower others, but the one who controls himself when angry. The best of you are those who are best to their families. A smile in the face of your brother is charity. The most perfect believer in faith is the one who has the best character. Seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave. Cleanliness is half of faith. He who is not merciful to others will not be treated mercifully. Make things easy and do not make them difficult. Spread good news and do not make people hate. The best among you is the one who does not harm others with his tongue or hands. Richness is not having many possessions. True richness is contentment of the soul. Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler. Actions are judged by intentions. Do not get angry. Those who show no mercy will receive no mercy. The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people. Whoever relieves a believer’s distress in this world, Allah will relieve his distress on the Day of Judgment. Speak good or remain silent. No one of you becomes a true believer until I am more beloved to him than his father, his children, and all mankind. The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever. Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before your busyness, and your life before your death. Kindness is a mark of faith, and whoever has no kindness has no faith. The best of people are those who are most useful to others. Do not envy one another, do not hate one another, and do not turn away from one another. Be servants of Allah as brothers. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or keep silent. Modesty is part of faith. The best charity is that given when one is in need himself. He is not a believer whose neighbor is not safe from his harm. Paradise lies under the feet of mothers. The best of you is the one who learns the Quran and teaches it.
