The Lord, my shepherd, guides my way, Through verdant fields where still waters sway. No want I know, for He provides, In paths of righteousness, He abides. Though shadows cloak the valley deep, No fear can hold, no dread can creep. His rod, His staff, they comfort me, A shield of grace, eternally. A table spread before my foes, With oil anointed, my cup overflows. His goodness, mercy, ever near, Shall follow me through every year. Forever in His house I’ll dwell, Where peace and love forever swell. My shepherd’s voice, my heart’s delight, Leads me through day, and guards the night.
