I have a rewrite of this. This was a true story from my first boy-girl party, 7th grade, 1976/77 that led to some fun. I should write another song. The lead girl in this, a few months later at another party, wanted me to fight a boy; the winner gets her. I said I am here to make out; I am a lover, not a fighter. He can have you, and I'll take your friend. Of course she wasn't happy; she wanted boys fighting over her. But her friend liked the idea of making out instead of watching her make out
