A Beacon Burning Pure and Strong

[Verse] In the silence spoke the Word so true A voice that echoes through skies of blue With every breath the world came alive Through Him we flourish we grow we thrive [Chorus] Shining bright through shadows deep The light that wakes us from our sleep A beacon burning pure and strong Guiding us home where we belong [Verse 2] He breathed life into the clay and stone In His hands we’re never alone The darkness trembled at His might Couldn’t grasp the beauty of His light [Chorus] Shining bright through shadows deep The light that wakes us from our sleep A beacon burning pure and strong Guiding us home where we belong [Bridge] There came a man sent from above With truth he bore the flame of love Not the Light but pointing the way To the dawn of an eternal day [Chorus] Shining bright through shadows deep The light that wakes us from our sleep A beacon burning pure and strong Guiding us home where we belong
