Sing Hosanna in the Highest

Before the dawn of time began, before the stars took flight The Word was there, the great I AM, clothed in glorious light He spoke and mountains rose to stand, He breathed and life began The King of Kings, the Son of God, the Lion and the Lamb Jesus Christ, the Morning Star, the Alpha and Omega Glory flows from pierced hands that hold the world together King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Lamb upon the throne Every knee shall bow before the Holy, Righteous One Sing Hosanna in the highest To the Lamb upon the throne All creation join the chorus Christ shall reign and Christ alone Every star and every sunrise Every breath declares His praise Glory to our God, Christ Jesus Through eternal, endless days The blind receive their sight in Him, the broken hearts He enters in, Death defeated, grave undone, victory through God the Son, Crimson love poured out like wine, human hearts meet love divine From the cross to glory’s throne, Christ has claimed us as His own! One day the sky will split in two, He’ll come to make all things new, With angels singing, trumpets sound, His feet will touch on holy ground, The King of Kings in glory dressed, Will call His children to their rest, Then we shall see Him face to face, forever held in His embrace! Worthy is the Lamb who was slain! Worthy is the One who rose again! Death could not contain Your power, The grave became Your finest hour! King of Kings and Lord of Lords, All dominion, all praise is Yours!
