[Verse] A healer with his hands so wise Through every tear and weary sigh He mended hearts and opened eyes Under Macedonia's skies [Verse 2] With parchment and a quill in tow He chronicled what few did know From whispered words to tales aglow He cast in ink a faithful flow [Chorus] From healing hands to written words His journals showed God's will unfurled A doctor turned historian Saint Luke reveals the divine plan [Verse 3] In cities where the sick once lay His gentle touch would guide their way But then God called him far away Record the dawn of a brand new day [Verse 4] Through dusty streets and ancient stone He wrote down deeds that should be known His gospel stands though ages flown A light for hearts and faith to own [Bridge] His heart stayed true to every soul Whether healing wounds or stories told In every word his spirit bold within these texts his love unfolds
