Check Before You Share

[Verse 1] Messages can travel fast Faster than the truth can last Photos, rumors, things you hear Pause a moment before you share Is it real or is it wrong? Where did it come from? If you’re not completely sure Don’t pass it along [Pre-Chorus] Not everything you see is true Take a moment, think it through [Chorus] Check — before you share Make sure the source is there Check — take a pause Don’t spread fear without a cause Clear and trusted, that’s the way Information keeps us safe [Verse 2] Follow updates you can trust Official sources are a must Pikud HaOref gives the guide That’s the place to rely Not every message helps at all Some can make confusion grow Sharing right information Is the safest way to go [Final Chorus] Check — every time Keep the signal clear in mind Check — what you send Helps protect you and your friends
