[Verse 1] I woke up at noon, sun streaming through the glass Time to find my nap spot, gotta make it fast But the green bin’s taken, Roo’s holding his throne He’s the king of Sudbourne, so I leave him alone Tried the cardboard box, but Hiccup’s squeezed tight In a box too small, but he thinks it’s just right I could wait all day, but he’s settled in So I flick my tail and set off again [Chorus] Running ‘round the house, where’s my special spot? Every favorite place, someone else has got Purring in my chest, but I’m still on the move When I find that perfect place, it might just have to move [Verse 2] The sunny window’s perfect, but the breeze rolls in That rattling noise? Doesn’t suit my skin Tried the folded laundry, but it starts to sway That wobbling basket keeps pushing me away Found the sofa backrest, Archie’s jumping with glee Telly’s blasting loud, it’s all too much for me Tail twitching sharply, determination strong I won’t rest until I find where I belong [Chorus] Running ‘round the house, where’s my special spot? Every favorite place, someone else has got Whiskers forward now, and I’m still on the move I’ll find that perfect place; I’ve got something to prove [Bridge] The closet door is closed, but I nudge it wide Kitchen counter’s sticky—won’t hurt my pride Then I hear a voice: “Vali, come here, dear” Mummy’s calling softly; perhaps my spot is near [Verse 3] I stroll into the room with a casual stride Mummy pats her lap; I pretend not to decide But I jump up smoothly, make myself at home Knead her favorite blanket, like it’s my own I settle down slowly, with a flick of my tail Close my eyes gently, let the world exhale She dares to shift a bit; I give a tiny glare Remember who’s in charge when I’m resting there [Chorus (Final)] Found my special spot, where I fit just right Purring on her lap in the soft lamplight Unbothered and content, I’m the household queen Now don’t you dare move, or you’ll face the feline queen [Outro Hook] Nap time achieved, and all is serene Mummy called me over, but I reign supreme She’s now my cushion, under my command Stuck here until I lift my royal ban [Abrupt stop]
