Never Enough (Elias Venn/FAMINE)

STUDIO

Doing a little world building because that is one of the things I do enjoy most. So, introducing the second member of "The Fifth Horseman" a little experimental band thing I am trying. Depending how well these go will decide how far I continue this world building experiment. Age: 43 Band position: Bass Demo track: NEVER ENOUGH Elias is the oldest and easily the hardest person in the group to read. Tall, lean, almost severe looking. Close-cropped dark hair, pronounced cheekbones, tired eyes, neatly trimmed beard. His clothes are extremely simple: black jeans, plain boots, washed-out shirts, long coats. He’ll wear the same jacket for fifteen years because, as far as he’s concerned, it still works. He owns almost nothing. Everyone assumes he’s miserable. He isn’t. Elias genuinely enjoys small things more than anyone realizes: excellent coffee, cooking something simple properly, repairing an object instead of replacing it, sitting somewhere quiet with another person without needing conversation. His bass playing reflects him perfectly. Nothing unnecessary. He doesn’t fill space because space exists. Then the exact moment the song needs weight, he drops something absolutely enormous into it. His voice is an unusually deep bass-baritone, very calm and very dry. He almost never raises it. On NEVER ENOUGH, that restraint would make him terrifying. He isn't screaming accusations at humanity. He sounds like someone who has already watched the experiment long enough to know the result. He and Pestilence have the funniest relationship because she talks enough for approximately six people. She can spend five minutes enthusiastically explaining something. Elias: “Finished?” Pestilence: “Not remotely.” Elias just sighs.
