The canvas is yours The brush in your hand No longer a ghost In someone else’s land Wipe clean the old print Erase what was there The power is yours Out in the open air Reset your own sky Break free from the chain And wash out the pain Touch the sky! And change it, move it! Touch the sky! Shape it and paint it! The canvas is yours to claim Speak your own chosen name! Paint what you feel Envision your dream Flowing like light In a burning stream It won't feel your soul Or respond to your voice Until you reach up And make your own choice Reset your own sky Break free from the chain And wash out the pain Touch the sky! And change it, move it! Touch the sky! Shape it and paint it! The canvas is yours to claim Speak your own chosen name! Reach up high! Touch the sky! Erase the past! Make it last! Paint your dream into the light Take your heart & soul back tonight! Touch the sky! And change it, move it! Touch the sky! Shape it and paint it! The canvas is yours to claim Speak your own chosen name!
