[Verse 1] Don't be afraid, my friend He sees every tear you hide When the road feels dark and long He's still on your side [Pre-Chorus] Lift your eyes a little higher Hear His promise call your name What He speaks over your life Will not fade away [Chorus] Look to the future Look to the future The future, the future God has claimed you Look to the future Look to the future The future, the future He's making you new [Verse 2] Every door that closed on you Could not stop His plan Every scar you carry now Still fits in His hand [Pre-Chorus] Lift your eyes a little higher Hear His promise call your name What He speaks over your life Will not fade away [Chorus] Look to the future Look to the future The future, the future God has claimed you Look to the future Look to the future The future, the future He's making you new [Bridge] So breathe again You are not forgotten Rise again The night is breaking open Hold on, hold on His mercy goes before you Look ahead, look ahead His light is calling you [Chorus] Look to the future Look to the future The future, the future God has claimed you Look to the future Look to the future The future, the future He's making you new
