I Dreamt I Was A Snail

I once dreamt I was a snail Everything I tried to do, I failed Slowly dragging, my body lagging, Not a mouth, and not a wail, Lasted for some hours, as My mood and mind, soured, and Everytime I went somewhere, I Just went back in circles, and- What the hell, Are you doing while I'm asleep? Messing with the sanity, I'm trying to keep.. (No more) Woke up (No more) And had enough, Thought I was too tough too fail, But then I was a snail (And now I gotta bail) Had time to kill, Some time to fill, and- Moved forward at the speed of stone, Slithering forward, all alone, Hoping I was dreaming this time, but it seemed so real, My path covered in slime, No part of me could feel and.. Then your foot, pinned me down Poured salt on my back, With nobody around Thought this feels real, alright, Round' time I lost my sight, Got my feelers crushed, adrenaline rush, Blackened, sight, alright, hush, hush, alright, A whole being gone with just a, simple touch!!! And as I woke up after wailing in pain, My heartbeat stopped, And I asked my brain... What the hell!!! Are you doing while I'm asleep? Messing with the sanity, I'm trying to keep! (No more) Woke up! (No more) And had enough, Thought I was too tough too fail, But then I was a snail! Woke up, in sweat, In tears, Regret, Helpless, Careless, timeless Felt less, than I've felt in years, But beneath your foot, at least I felt you cared... I thought I was a- God, I hope I'm not a- Bing-bing, Digga digga, ding, My body stings, Squish, squish I wish, I could forget ya I could forget ya But all I have is my head, And as I woke up, I said: What the hell, Are you doing while I'm asleep?
