神喰らいの夜～Night of the God-Eater～

(風が泣いている…　神が沈む音がする) (静けさが凍てつく夜に…) 七柱（ななばしら）の神が　光を降ろす 民の祈りが空に溶けて その名を喰らう、獣が来た 黒き影が星を飲み込む 剣を掲げた、蒼き鎧の勇者 「私が、守る」と、誓いし者 だが、刃は通じず 深き闇に飲まれていった 砕けた盾、裂けた空 神々の叫びが木霊する あの時、恐怖に膝をついた 「私では届かないのか…？」 神よ、見ているか 今も私を試しているのか？ 友の声が炎を灯し 失われた勇気が胸に戻る 学者は叡智を、踊り子は癒しを 弓手が風を切り、盗賊が道を拓く 孤独ではないと教えてくれた ひとつの絆が運命を変えた （振り向けば、過去の影） （けれどもう、囚われはしない） この手で終わらせる 神喰らいの夜を 神よ、眠るな あなたの光を絶やさせはしない 仲間の叫びが刃となって 私の中の闇を断ち切る （風が変わる） （命が巡る） （星が、また、瞬く…） 神よ、私が灯す この魂をもって、夜を裂こう 選ばれし者ではなくとも 希望を繋ぐ剣となれ そして、獣は沈み 神々は再び、眠りについた ひとりの勇者が歴史を変えた夜 それが―― 神喰らいの夜 (The wind weeps... I hear the gods sinking) (A silence frozen into the night…) Seven gods descended with light Prayers of the people melted into the sky A beast came forth, devouring their names Its black shadow swallowed the stars She raised her sword, a maiden in azure armor “I will protect them,” she vowed But her blade did not pierce the dark And she was consumed by the abyss A shattered shield, a sky torn apart The cries of the gods echoed through the void Then came the fear, and she fell to her knees “Am I… not enough?” O gods, can you see me now? Are you still testing me even now? The voices of my friends lit a fire And lost courage returned to my heart The scholar brought wisdom, the dancer healing The archer cleaved the wind, the rogue opened the path They taught me I am not alone One bond changed fate (The past shadows behind me…) (But I will no longer be bound) With these hands, I will end it This night of the God-Eater O gods, do not sleep I will not let your light be extinguished The cries of my comrades become blades And sever the darkness within me (The wind has turned) (Life circles again) (The stars… begin to shine once more) O gods, I will light the way With this soul, I will tear the night Even if I was not the chosen one Let me become the sword that carries hope And so the beast was vanquished The gods returned to their slumber A single maiden changed history that night That was— The Night of the God-Eater
