Witches Decree

The flame within already knows Where my deepest power grows No outside voice can name my way No shadow steals my chosen day With lifted heart and rooted feet I rise where truth and courage meet By breath and fire, calm and free I walk as all I came to be I find the door within my soul Where scattered parts return as whole No fear may lock, no doubt may bind The hidden strength within my mind With steady hand, I turn the key And step into what waits for me By will made clear and courage shown I claim the power that is my own I stand upon the stone I know Where deeper roots of courage grow No shifting fear can move my feet No doubt can make my strength retreat With steady breath and centred flame I rise in power, whole in name By truth made firm and spirit strong I hold my place where I belong I trust the tide that moves in me A deep and knowing inner sea No restless wave can pull me wide I steer with soul, I rise with tide With calm command and open sight I cross from doubt to growing light By breath and flow and courage true I become what I am called to do
