08 奸智の影 / Loki - The Trickster's Shadow

[Instrumental] [Already There] [no introduction - orchestra is already mid-phrase, pizzicato strings in full motion, loki was there before you arrived] [The Scheme] [woodwinds dart chromatically over string ostinato, a plan is forming - clever, crooked, inevitable] [The Mask] [music briefly sounds almost noble - strings sing a false melody, loki wears a different face, convincing and warm] [The Unraveling] [the false melody collapses, brass stabs at wrong moments, diminished chords collide, the trick is revealed too late] [Laughter] [full orchestra in chaotic dissonance, loki's laughter embedded between the notes - then gone, mid-phrase, unresolved]
