That alone leaves me in awe tonight, that the God of all would draw this close, not because I earned it, not because I’m right, but because You chose me. So I quiet my thoughts, I don’t rush this space, I don’t speak too fast, I don’t move in haste, I just sit here held in amazing grace and recognize who You are. Through the Spirit I feel when I start to drift, He pulls me right back to this very place, He reminds me again I don’t gotta resist just bein’ still in Your presence. And God the Father, You hold this space, You don’t rush me out, You don’t turn away, You just let me stay face to face with the truth of who You are.
