Verse 1 He’ll be back by then, that’s what they said, But I was living in Toronto back then, inside my head. I haven’t seen her since then, the days just flow, And I won’t eat anything until then, don’t you know. Pre-Chorus “See you then!” she waved with a smile, I was in Paris then, dreaming for a while. “Then I’ll wait!” he shouted through the rain, And time kept rolling like a midnight train. --- Chorus When you get to the station, then call me, Tell me where you are and where you want to be. “Where do you want to go then?” the moment begins, Life turns page after page with little “then”s. --- Verse 2 Looking back on moments that we can’t amend, From “back then” memories to “see you then” ends. I’ll hold on tight to every now and then, Until the future circles right back again. --- Bridge By then the sun will rise, Since then we’ve grown so wise. Until then just take my hand, And then we’ll learn to understand. --- Final Chorus When you get to the station, then call me, Tell me every place you dream to see. Where do you want to go then, my friend? Let’s chase every “then” until the very end.
