Path to Salvation Why do we hesitate Others sneer, your mind clear One step toward The only road to Salvation They know not what they do Yet, God waved the flag Turned on the green light You saw it And ran toward Him You knew all the way Clarity through distortion Transparent with words In that golden book So, you ran to the cross Cleansed by the waters Soul so pure Mind no longer bending There's only one road Obstacles with each step You pray for strength He gives you peace You stumble, He catches you Lifts you up You refocus, renewed strength One step toward The only road to Salvation New mind, new shoes Walking the way Dancing through time Enlightened and armed He gives you seeds You wait for flowers Some rise while others wilt Only one way You relocate and plant again Dropping in light Projecting iridescence He leads the way One step toward Living with salvation Through our Lord Jesus Christ You stumble, He catches you Lifts you up You refocus, renewed strength One step toward The only road to Salvation So, you ran to the cross Cleansed by the waters Soul so pure Mind no longer bending He is the way The truth And the Life
