The eternal soldier (Remastered)

Buffy Sainte-Marie wrote this song against the Vietnam War in 1963. I have translated it into the present day and it is still relevant today. He is big and strong is small and weak, fights with bombs colt and spear, He's a guy a superman is very young almost a child, and a soldier for a thousand years and more. [short break ] He is a Muslim is a Hindu Buddhist and an atheist, he is Jewish, Catholic and Protestant. It says thou shalt not kill, in the Bible in the Koran, Is he blind? Does he not see the writing on the wall? [intro instrumental] He fights for the USA, Yemen, Syria and Iran, goes as a mercenary to the most distant country, He fights for Putin, Netanyahu, Zelensky and Erdogan, Is he blind? Does he not see the writing on the wall? [short break ] And so he fights for pay, freedom and dictatorship, it is in his hands alone, whether countries are wiped out, whether an entire people perishes, Is he blind? Does he not see the writing on the wall? [intro instrumental] Without him, Hitler would never have subjugated half of Europe, Nero would never have burned Rome. He alone must pay with his last drop of blood, Is he blind? Does he not see the writing on the wall? [intro instrumental] He is the eternal soldier, atrocities happen, For the freedom or for the religion. Why oh brothers can we never the error see , This is not the way we put the end to war. [Outro] [fade out] {end}
