[Verse 1] Make way, I'm cruising to Silver City Leaving the pass behind The road bends west through the quiet hills No need to race the time [Chorus] Silver City, here I come Taking the back roads, taking my time Silver City, here I come One long mile at a time [Verse 2] The old route slips behind the ridge A mile marker counts the miles I let the engine settle low And watch the dark unwind [Chorus] Silver City, here I come Taking the back roads, taking my time Silver City, here I come One long mile at a time [Outro] Silver City, here I come Leaving the pass behind Silver City, here I come Taking my time
