More than three thousand years ago, during the Late Bronze Age (c. 1300–800 BCE), communities gathered to bury their dead and bid them farewell. Accompanied by flutes, percussion, and the sound of ringing bronze ornaments, communal voices may have echoed through the night. This piece is an archaeologically inspired interpretation of the soundscape of the Urnfield Culture and other Bronze Age communities of Central Europe.
