[Spoken Intro] The world cannot see Him. It cannot hear His voice or comprehend the life He gives. And when His life begins to shine through you, do not be surprised if the world treats you as it treated Him. Your life is hidden with Christ. Your home is with your Savior. And your crown awaits His appearing. [Verse 1] There's a life the world can't see, A hidden flame inside of me. They see my steps, they hear my words, But miss the song my soul has heard. My risen Savior reigns on high, Beyond the reach of mortal eyes. He pleads for me before the throne, Yet through the storm, I'm not alone! [Pre-Chorus] They cannot see Him, But I believe! They cannot touch Him, Yet I receive! A life the senses cannot know, A holy fire that heaven grows! [Chorus] HIDDEN WITH CHRIST—BUT THE FIRE STILL BURNS! HATED BY THE WORLD—BUT MY HEART STILL YEARNS! Let them mock the faith they cannot understand, I'm held forever in my Savior's hand! HIDDEN WITH CHRIST—MY HOME IS ABOVE! I WILL NOT TRADE HIM FOR THE WORLD'S EMPTY LOVE! When the King appears, every eye will see— THE LIFE THEY COULD NOT SEE IN ME! [Verse 2] They called my Savior grief-struck, strange, They scorned the One who came to save. No earthly palace, bed, or throne, No place to rest His weary bones. The foxes had their hiding place, The birds their nests beneath God's grace. But Christ was driven out to die, Rejected underneath the sky. [Pre-Chorus] If they rejected Him, Why should I demand applause? If they despised the sinless One, Why should I escape His cause? I'd rather walk where Jesus trod Than win the praise of men and lose my God! [Verse 3] They may call my hope a fantasy, A shell without reality. They see the page but miss the truth, The living Christ who makes me new. I cannot force a blind heart to see, Or make the dead rise by decree. But God can call the lost by name And light within their hearts His flame! [Verse 4] So let them see the life I live, The grace that teaches me to give. Let mercy speak and kindness show The Christ that worldly hearts don't know. I'll bear the cross, I'll stand my ground, Though praise of men cannot be found. For every wound this world may send, My Savior's love will never end! [Bridge — Heavy Breakdown] OUTSIDE THE CAMP! WHERE JESUS DIED! OUTSIDE THE CAMP! I TAKE MY SIDE! NO EARTHLY HONOR! NO WORLDLY THRONE! MY REST IS FOUND IN CHRIST ALONE! Let the world reject me! Let its kingdoms fall! I belong to Jesus— HE IS LORD OF ALL! [Choir Build] They may not see Him! BUT HE IS KING! They may not hear Him! MY SOUL WILL SING! They may despise Him! I'LL BEAR HIS NAME! UNTIL THE KING RETURNS AGAIN! [Final Chorus — Full Power] HIDDEN WITH CHRIST—BUT THE FIRE STILL BURNS! [Final Refrain — Choir and Lead] HIDDEN WITH CHRIST! SECURE IN HIS LOVE! HIDDEN WITH CHRIST! MY HOPE IS ABOVE! HIDDEN WITH CHRIST! THROUGH ALL I GO THROUGH! UNTIL HE APPEARS— I WILL BE TRUE! [Spoken Outro] Let the world misunderstand. Let the world turn away. My life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is my life, appears— Then shall I also appear with Him in glory.
