Roxi-Band: Live: The Weight of Good

[ENVIRONMENT]:(A massive festival stage; thousands of lights flashing in sync; the air is vibrating from the sub-bass): This track is a "Sonic Rebirth" of the user's provided reference. We took the DNA of David Guetta & Showtek’s "Bad"—specifically that 2014 Big Room House architecture—and performed a complete conceptual inversion. Instead of the hedonistic "good to be bad," ROXI-BAND explores the heavy, almost suffocating burden of "being good." It's an anthem for the exhausted perfectionist. The band leaned into the scale of the reference; Sephyr-Glen provided those massive stadium leads, while Roxi used her high trance-lift to convey the emotional strain of the lyrics. Brash acts as the necessary friction, providing the "bad" energy that balances out Roxi's "good." [Sephyr-Glen]:(keys-synth-player):(Starts with a building, cinematic synth swell—massive and wide; a high-energy "pre-build" that feels like it's about to explode): [Milfred]:(drummer):(Enters with a heavy, four-on-the-floor kick drum; perfectly sidechained to the synths): [Jill]:(bass-player):(A monstrous, distorted sub-bass line anchors every kick, creating a physical wall of sound): [Roxi]:(female-lead-singer):(Sung, powerful and melodic, reaching for high notes but keeping an emotional edge): I say, "Why does it feel so bad? So bad to be so good?" Doing all the right things... While I'm losing my mind. (Huh) [Brash]:(male-lead-duet-singer):(Rap, aggressive and rhythmic, cutting through the mix): You see the halo, you don't see the weight. Trying to be perfect while you're pushing your fate. [Roxi]:(female-lead-singer):(Sung, building in intensity with a soaring trance lift): Why does it feel so bad? To be so good... 'Cause if the light is what you're looking for... Oh, baby, I’m exhausted! [AUDIENCE]:(A massive roar of energy; thousands of hands in the air): [Sephyr-Glen]:(keys-synth-player):(The "Build"—fast rising arpeggios and snare rolls accelerating to a fever pitch): [Liz]:(wind-player):(A piercing, high-frequency whistle cuts through the build like a spiritual cry): [Roxi]:(female-lead-singer):(Screamed/Sung with raw power over the peak of the build): I say why does it feel so bad? So bad to be so good... GOOD... GOOD... GOOD! (BAD!) (BAD!) (BAD!) (BAD!) (BAD!) (BAD!) (The music explodes into a massive, high-energy Big Room House drop—heavy on the lead synths and Jill’s distorted bass) [Roxi] & [Brash]:(Duet, alternating over the heavy drop): (Roxi) Why does it feel so bad? (Brash) To be so good! (Roxi) I'm tired of the light! (Brash) You're losing the fight! [Sephyr-Glen]:(keys-synth-player):(A triumphant, melodic synth hook takes over the main melody): [Milfred]:(drummer):(Heavy kick continues; adds explosive crash cymbals on every transition): [Roxi]:(female-lead-singer):(Final soaring note as the music begins to pull back into a heavy, atmospheric pad): So bad... to be so good. [Sephyr-Glen]:(keys-synth-player):(Sudden cut to a dying echo of the main synth hook): [AUDIENCE]:(The crowd goes wild; a sea of lights flashing as the sound rings out): [END]
