Verse 1 Before the mountains touched the sky, Before the oceans learned to rise, Your voice spoke light into the dark, And every star received its spark. You stretched the heavens with Your hand, Laid every sea upon the land, Your Word alone became the frame, Forever worthy of Your name. Pre-Chorus The heavens tell Your endless story, Every sunrise sings Your glory. Chorus Above the firmament You reign, Forever faithful, still the same. Your Word will never pass away, Though earth and kingdoms fade someday. The heavens shout Your majesty, Your truth has always set us free. Lord, let my heart forever stand, Trusting every word You've planned. Verse 2 The waters gathered at Your call, The moon and stars obey them all. You marked the seasons, day and night, Creation shines with holy light. When voices say Your Word has changed, Or truth is somehow rearranged, I'll stand upon what You have said, The Living Word who rose from the dead. Pre-Chorus No voice of man can change Your story, Every page reveals Your glory. Chorus Above the firmament You reign, Forever faithful, still the same. Your Word will never pass away, Though earth and kingdoms fade someday. The heavens shout Your majesty, Your truth has always set us free. Lord, let my heart forever stand, Trusting every word You've planned. Bridge Your voice still echoes through creation, Calling every heart to faith. The heavens still declare Your glory, Every breath Your mercy gave. Jesus, You are King forever, Alpha, Omega, Lord of all. I will trust Your holy promise, Standing when the nations fall. Final Chorus Above the firmament You reign, Forever faithful, still the same. From first light to eternity, Your Word remains my certainty. The heavens sing, the earth proclaims, Salvation comes in Jesus' name. I'll lift my eyes and I will see, The God who made the heavens... loves me.
