Our Double Dog Dare (EcoActUs Forever Exhale)

We are the ones who woke up weeping For a world that should not need saving. We are the ones who still plant peace In soil fracked by centuries of Extraction’s taking. We do not ask the Earth to forgive. We ask ourselves to remember. That before we were kings, We were kin. That before we drew borders, We drew breath. Together. Ours is a gospel of grit and grace, Of seedlings sung into being By voices long silenced, Now rising worldwide, work through the net. We name what was buried. We carry what was charred. And still, we turn Toward the sun. In the wind. Into the river—upstream when we must. This is not the anthem of empire. This is the chorus of repair. We do not worship profit— We Aim it. We praise the pulse. Carbon, reclaim it. Plass-tick, confessed. Justice, no longer suppressed. There are no heroes here— Only hands held across histories. Only hearts heeding the hum Of a hummingbird, of a heartbeat, Of the breath between now and not yet. Or never. Call this a Requiem. Call this a Revival. Call this the Revolution of Enough. Where children chant down smoke and silence, Where hope is fermented in language lost And re-learned. We are not here to save the Earth. We are the Earth—saving herself. We are not saving her rainbow— we’re saving her sight. Not saving her air—we Inhale deep before we say it: Saving her breath.. And if we must dream, Let it be a Dream that dares to breathe. A Dream that does not own, but offers. A Dream that does not end, But begins. Exhale. Eco. Act. Us. Forever.
