[Verse] Up on the peak where the clouds meet the ground The world fades away as the rain falls around Bare feet on the rock Hearts beating in time The storm can't touch us This love's too divine [Chorus] We’re spinning and twirling The mountain our stage The rain keeps on falling But we’re out of its cage Living for the moment No care in our sight Dancing in the rain We own the night [Verse 2] Our laughter's an echo that shatters the sky The lightning applauds as the thunder rides by With every drop falling We’re closer than close This love is our shelter More than we’d ever hoped [Chorus] We’re spinning and twirling The mountain our stage The rain keeps on falling But we’re out of its cage Living for the moment No care in our sight Dancing in the rain We own the night [Bridge] The wind tries to move us But here we remain Two souls intertwined in the heart of the rain No fear in this wildness No need to explain We're free like the water that runs through our veins [Chorus] We’re spinning and twirling The mountain our stage The rain keeps on falling But we’re out of its cage Living for the moment No care in our sight Dancing in the rain We feel its right
