[Intro] [Instrumental: lone organ, low hum] [Verse 1] Ordered it late on a Tuesday night Told myself it was nothing much Now I'm checking the tracking like it's a scoreline Every van on the street, I'm looking up I cleared a space on the shelf already Six bottles wide, a little more Haven't tasted a drop, and I'm standing at the window Like I know what I'm waiting for [Pre-Chorus] Through the gate, past the vines, down the pass Over the mountain, coming fast [Chorus] Something's coming I can feel it at the door Something's coming And I've been ready since the night before Franschhoek's in a box and the box has got my name Something's coming, and I'm never gonna wait the same [Spoken Verse] Yeah. Six o'clock, the cellar door Jacques signed it off, the crew packed the floor Two Dogs, a Duck, a Bird and a Brut One box, one name, one road, one route Rebels of the Vine, coming to your street Better clear the table, better find a seat This ain't a delivery. This is the show Knock knock, baby. Here we go. [Breakdown] Something's coming… Something's coming… [Drop] [Instrumental: heavy drums crash in, full band and choir] [Chorus] Something's coming It's standing at the door Something's coming And I've been ready since the night before Franschhoek's in a box and the box has got my name Something's coming, and I'm never gonna wait the same [Verse 3] Now you know the feeling, and it don't come free It comes on a Tuesday when you least expect You don't have to wait for it, you don't have to chase You could just be on the list And it comes every cycle, straight to your place [Final Chorus] Something's coming Every time, to your door Something's coming And you'll be ready like the night before Franschhoek's in a box and the box has got your name Something's coming. You'll never wait the same. [Outro] You're on the list now. See you next cycle.
